Club Purpose

The objective of the Club is to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Inc. and The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the German Shepherd Dog is bred and judged, and to do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed, and to educate with these interests in mind.

Activity Updates

7/11/17 Tuesday: Informal training/socialization. Location TBD due to unavailability of Franklin County Fairgrounds during Fair setup time. We will post the location and time as soon as it is arranged.

7/18/17 Tuesday: Membership meeting and training/socialization: 6:30 for training, 7:30 for meeting. At the home of Joe and Charlotte La Rosa. Everyone welcome. Contact us for address.

8/16/17 Wednesday: Board meeting: 7:30 Iacono's Restaurant in Hilliard. Everyone welcome.

9/20/17 Wednesday: Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Officers and Board: 7:30 Iacono's Restaurant inn Hilliard. Everyone welcome.

News

Our first Agility Trials were held on Feb 4th and 5th 2017, and were very successful. We will be holding three days of trials in February of 2018.

In 2016, The GSDC of Central Ohio once again placed 1st in the GSDCA newsletter competition for clubs of our size with quarterly newsletters (this is the 7th year in a row)!
