The objective of the Club is to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The German Shepherd Dog Club of America, Inc. and The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the German Shepherd Dog is bred and judged, and to do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed, and to educate with these interests in mind.

GSDC of Central Ohio placed 2nd in the 2009 GSDCA newsletter competition for clubs of our size with quarterly newsletters! Congratulations to Kath Jo Zorn, our hard working editor!

Our club also placed 3rd in the GSDCA 2009 Regional Club Challenge for clubs of our size! Congratulations to all of the club members who's effortds contributed to this award, and to Joyce Willis for coordination our entry!
